Good take, Scottish.....my thots.....

I think the majority of the 53 man roster is pretty much set in stone which is a good sign for this team.

As other have mentioned:

RB - Davis is questionable, I think both Kelly and Colburn have more potential. I am not sure if the coaching staff are very high on Kelly which would give Colburn a chance. For me it is between Kelly and Colburn. I agree...just cuz Davis is always hurt...otherwise, Davis flashes every PS. Yeah, I think it's TG, Brown, Henderson, Kelly.

WR - No. 5 and 6 is very very open, anyone from JoJo, Hodge, Thomas, Nsimba and Bachman. I think Bachman could have a real chance but wouldn't be surprised by any 2 out of that 5. As others have pointed out recently, JoJo's return ability puts him at an advantage. I agree...tho JoJo has surprised me a bit and actually catches the ball when he plays in the offense - he's like a smaller Tavon and could be murder on jet sweeps when subbing. I liked Hodge's game...he catches the ball and runs decent routes. I like Thomas but he's always just hurt it seems. Bachman/Nsimba might surprise...I have not seen them play and look forward to it in PS. Worse case, is JoJo & Hodge are #5 & #6.

TE - Mundt probably is a slight favourite due to his familiarity but I do think the 3 rookies have more potential. Blanton could be a real find if he develops but Practice Squad is more likely for him. Again its 1 from 4 with Mundt probably the safe choice. Disagree on Mundt...not a fan of his game or size/speed. I think they brought these 3 TEs in to unseat him from that 3rd TE spot. I think one will...Blanton certainly could be THAT guy! Maybe they trade Higbee and we use 2 of the 3 TEs we brought in...I'm leaning that way myself. We'd save some money and maybe get an upgrade. Maybe not! lol

O-Line - I think the 8 mentioned are going to be there but Hitner would also fit in nicely especially if they go with 9. Probably another centre would be ideal but Blythe and Demby could back up Allan if need be. A FA Vet is also a possibility but I think they stick with what they have. Demby is gonna be starting at RG at some point this year- imo. Blythe may go back to OC over Allen also. agreed on everything else....tho Hitner and Vitas Hrynkiewicz may surprise....as they have interesting skills. Neary also.

ILB - Not sure about Carraway and Howard, I think they will probably only go with 4 and Dakota Allan would probably have a slight edge over Carraway and Howard. Again, its tight so I wouldn't be surprised to see any of that 3. I liked Carroway out of college and wanted the Rams to draft or sign him from TCU. Howard is a clone of Littleton. I like Allen, Natrez Patrick, maybe Reader too - as Kiser-like run stopping subs with Dakota the most upside. imo We'll have 2-3 of those ILBs we brought in for our PS I think. Maybe Ketner Kupp too as a Ben Bur-Kirven clone for our STs. BUt most will be on the Practice Squad and sit for a year and we'll get the benefit next year. We have good depth here...with many young players that could create competition and one or two might rise from the mass of bodies.

Normally I would have gone with only 4 safeties but Scott is primarily a Special Teams asset, at first, so I would put him in the 53 as a Safety
I think Scott will be tried as a replacement for Countess. I thot it kinda curious that on the draft phone call to Scott, Wade went out of his way to tell Scott to play MORE than just STs...but to be a real FS in his defense. I think Wade sees some real upside with Scott's athleticism and Scott will be given all he can handle.
