I don't think it's a matter of luck. I think they got their guy in Kiser. And when I read around on Kiser, I can see why. As I said my bet is he's the guy.
They just talked about him today.

Wade Phillips said that 2nd-year LB Micah Kiser has impressed during offseason workouts. Phillips said he’s “going in the same direction” as Cory Littleton, who went from special teams to the starting defense.
Phillips did say that, at this point in his career, Kiser is likely to be a two-down linebacker only, with Littleton as the only true, 3-down ILB
