And Goff deserves more. He is gonna crush the market. All my hopes of him taking a favorable AAV contract are gone.
It is as direct as I say and we have the numbers to prove it. There's nothing "simplistic" about it. The numbers tell the story. I can link you to the numbers if you want.
Anyway, Wentz is the first 32 M. But he's also the
first qb 2nd contract since 2018.. So "how many" is not the right question. The last sets of 2nd contracts were around 28 M. I think part of Wentz's deal, though, is that the contract does not start until 2021, and qb 2nd contracts are going to be higher by then.
