disregarding the arm length, his footwork is not where it needs to be on the edge. He has literally only played 4 years as a OT after being recruited as a TE from HS. So he has a chance to develop his footwork obviously, but his quickest path to an active gameday roster spot is inside for now.
Honestly, I don't care who ends up where, just as long as the Rams continue to have an outstanding OL. This is realistically, Whitworth's last year. They have already lost a seasoned, heady OC in Sully (who was by any standard, not good down the stretch last year) and their LG in Saffold. So whatever combination of Noteboom, Allen, Blythe, Edwards and Evans to go with Havs works for me.
I like a left side of Noteboom and Evans, Allen at center (I am still not convinced he is the answer at center) Blythe at RG and Havs at RT. Edwards being a supper sub playing all along the line would work. I would really like to see Demby push Blythe at RG and maybe even see Blythe fight Allen for OC.
