A lesser discussed aspect of the Rams is special teams where, for the first time in years, they really were not one of the top 5 units in the league. FootballOutsiders had them 17th in special teams, PFF 11th and Rick Gosselin 9th. So they were good, but not great.
My general opinion in early May: I think the offense might take a small step back while the defense and special teams rebound and improve.

I hadn’t noticed the slippage in our ST rankings. Too busy watching that O and D, I suppose.
Couldn’t be Hekker, GZ, or McQuaide. Littleton got 2 blocked punts. So it must be the return and coverage units? I don’t recall long returns and/or td’s allowed, either.
