Actually the Bradford contract is a bit of a myth too. Because it was on the old CBA, it was a 6 year deal. That means it averaged around (I think) 13 M a year. When the new round of 2nd contracts kicked in with the new CBA, 13 M a year was a bargain for a starting qb

Annual actual payouts go up and down too. So in 2013, Bradford got 9 M. Brady got 31 M.
