His haircut may have been small...but compare that to a Dak "I haven't done squat" Prescott who is pushing hard for a big contract...something I absolutely think he doesn't deserve. He's a mid level QB at best but wants top QB pay. Everybody on the Cowboys wants more...Elliott, A. Cooper, etc. Good luck.
He was the highest paid PLAYER in the league in 2010, and after that contract, starting doing the home team discount thing.
But he
did cash in.
And NFL contract markets are what they are. They NEVER work according to
what fans think a player is worth logic. Increases are always a certain percentage over the previous year, and there's very little wiggle room with that. So in that context, becoming the highest paid player in the league in 2010 was a big deal. He got what the highest paid player in the league WOULD get in 2010.
