There's always that risk teams will move up into that range and take guys they covet, and get that extra year of team control. There's probably not a team in the final five of round one who aren't thinking of dropping down and adding a fourth rounder.
So I wouldn't read too much into them not interviewing CBs. I mean just recall what our defense looked like when Talib was out, good grief. Guy I like there at 31 is Deandre Baker, his natural cover skills are going to help some team deal with these new PI fishing attempts on key downs that we'll see all year.
Nice post by the way and very well thought out. Bottom line is I think Snead has the following plan at 31:
1. Take the guy who slides and get top value if they can.
2. Move down if a big value doesn't present itself.
3. If no move down offer take the guy they like most from among the positions that will likely be there.
