The idea that a guy is fail proof and when you draft him you can just pencil him in for the next 10 years is fool's gold.
Anybody remember Greg Robinson? RGIII? Paxton Lynch? Treadwell? Marcus Marriota? DeVante Parker? Randy Gregory? And scores more?
It just doesn't work that way and the only guys you ever hear use terms like plug and play for 10 years are the media guys and fans.
Teams know that until that guy gets into a uni and he starts for a couple of years, you just can't be sure of anything.
