I mentioned this...ok...a lot.
But it is an issue. It is amazing how many points we score with have a middle of the pack and lower red zone offense.
That's fine and dandy until you play the best teams and get in the playoffs.
So...we don't care about the red zone results? Does McVay care? I haven't heard him talk much about this.
I thought about this again based on a post by stlramz on Brown who I thought performed subpar in the red zone. The only real weapon we have in the red zone is Todd Gurley. And, IMO, that isn't enough. Making GZ a Pro Bowler based on kicking a bunch of 35 yard FGs is not what we want.
I think I know what the answer is...not popular here but a big athletic AND physical TE would help. That would help with the WRs by pulling coverage into the middle of the field.
Anyway...any thoughts on how to get us into the top 10...we were 19th in 2018 and 17th in 2017.
