To claim Snead will not take an o linemen because of some statement he made years ago about offensive linemen is frankly naive. Also, how do you square the GRob pick with those comments. The Rams may in fact decide against drafting O Line at #31, but has nothing to do with any "philosophy" about drafting linemen, and everything to do with them believing there is better value elsewhere.
Also, I think it is
very premature to pencil in Noteboom and Allen as Saffold & Sullivan replacements. These were mid round picks, and most experts thought both would go later. Let's not argue this point....they were mid round picks who have played very little. I am hopeful that both can play, BUT we really do not know the answer to that. It would not surprise me at all to see the Rams take Bradbury if he is there. The Rams interior was a definite weak spot at the end of last season...and Saffold was the only above average for us and now he is gone. Noteboom, Allen and Blythe is
not a strong interior.
The Rams offense is all dependent on the success of the o line. Fortifying this group would not be a bad idea, and certainly something the rams are contemplating....despite what they say or have said.
go rams.
