That 5th year option is a big deal when selecting in the 1st round.An underestimated help with player retention and the cap.
And since this year's draft is a good one, the Rams are sitting well at 31. They are going to have some really good players sitting there for them.
They don't need to trade down and accumulate more picks..... they have plenty.
If they trade at all it might be to slightly move up in round 1, or it could involve some middle round pick manipulations.
