Are these incentives "not likely to be earned" and aren't counting against the cap this season? But we don't know that without seeing the contract... This is just a "per source" report with no other details.

Or perhaps the incentives are for time played or for sacks or for starts... or what? Then the Rams are on the hook this season for the full amount of the contract if all the incentives are earned, or "likely to be earned".Yes? No? I don't know.

Does it make sense to just be patient and wait for the actual deal to be disclosed?
