I have no desire to revisit the AD salary wars of last year, but I will say this.

AB was willing to cut off his nose to spite his face in his negotiations. Bell, too.

AD never gave evidence of such foolishness. Both AD and his agent maintained a respectful and sincere posture toward the Rams and the Ram FO did the same.

Results? A generous but fair contract agreement that both sides are happy with and leaving AD with the ascending team that he loves. Everybody wins, including the fans.

So, which method of contract negotiation seems best? Bell’s, Brown’s, or AD’s? Lol.
