I am skeptical of Harbaughs defensive schemes ... I think he reigns his guys in a lot. I can't think of any player at Michigan or Stanford that was truly "unleashed" ... And given that he had Gary and Winovich on the same team and they didn't get consistent pressure, I'm thinking that there was some method behind what they were doing. And honestly, that worked most of the time for them to win games, like it worked with Stanford.

I DO know that I felt like there were games he WAS unleashed and he was a whirling dervish. But unfortunately, we don't get that inside stuff. So conjecture is all I have.
