Bummer was Mack Wilson strained a hammy and couldn't go. De'andre Walker either, and Christian Miller was working through obvious pain. TJ Edwards and Jahlani Tavai too ... oh yeah and Tre Lamar and Vosean Jospeh and David Long. Seriously though ... ugh.

There are some 3-4 outside rushers in this group, and some inside talent. Overall the times were nutty. I'm not thinking we need this position exactly ... but I am going to assess the talent and bold what I'd be looking for in the right round. Also? I know that LBs are the most likely to fall off the draft even if they're decent quality players.

LB

Otaro Alaka Texas A&M 6030 239 4.82 4.83 -- 20 DNP 36 10-11 9 3/4 33 A little slow but smooth in drills. Probably never an impact starter.

Dakota Allen Texas Tech 6006 232 4.77 4.77 -- 23 6.88 31.5 9-8 9 1/4 31 1/4 He has never really showed up to me, and his drill work was average. He is a thumper though.

Josh Allen Kentucky 6047 262 4.63 4.64 1.61 28 7.15 DNP 9-10 8 3/4 33 1/2 Yeah, he's a top 5 pick. He's not Von Miller. But he's realllllly good. Agreed, I see no way he gets out of the top 5

Bryson Allen-Williams South Carolina 6005 236 4.88 4.88 -- 14 7.40 DNP DNP 9 3/4 31 1/2 Will need ST to make a team.

Jeff Allison Fresno St. 5112 228 4.82 4.83 -- 12 7.20 31 9-7 10 32 1/4 He had great smooth drills. Im a fan. Like him late. Also, he hits people reallllly hard.

Cody Barton Utah 6024 237 4.64 4.64 -- 30 6.90 32.5 9-8 9 1/4 31 7/8 So he and Hansen made a great double insid tandem at Utah .. wish Hansen had tested too .. his lateral agility and change of direction is bordering on elite. So, while he's likely best at a 4-3 WILL, I think he'll make a team and start sooner rather than later. If he's around late I have him on my list.

Ben Burr-Kirven Washington 6000 230 4.56 4.57 -- 21 6.85 34.5 10-1 8 7/8 31 7/8 Don't bet against him. He'll make a team on STs and work his way into the lineup. at worst a ST demon

Devin Bush Michigan 5110 234 4.43 4.44 -- 21 6.93 40.5 10-4 9 5/8 32 Great times. I suspect he'll be in the 25-35 area. I like him in that range. And He could be a fit for the Rams.

Blake Cashman Minnesota 6011 237 4.50 4.51 -- 18 6.95 37.5 10-4 8 3/4 30 1/8 So .. this fella surprised me a great deal and Im going to have to watch some more tape ... he's on my list now not just because of times but because he made the drills look easy. you will be disappointed in his tape.

Te'Von Coney Notre Dame 6007 234 DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP 9 1/2 32 7/8 Drills were stiff and slow. He's off my board. Combine doesn't drop players off my board unless of something extreme, but i haven't been a huge fan to begin with

Ryan Connelly Wisconsin 6021 242 4.66 4.67 -- DNP 7.09 34.5 9-10 9 3/8 30 7/8 Did not expect him to test and rill this well, so he's on my watch list. I was pleasantly surprised as well

Deshaun Davis Auburn 5113 234 DNP DNP DNP 25 DNP 31 9-3 10 31 1/4 I wanted to see his 40 and I wanted him to drill smoother. He is a fire hydrant, came in lighter then he played this season. I like him later on

Tyrel Dodson Texas A&M 6003 237 4.60 4.61 -- 24 DNP DNP 9-10 9 1/8 31 3/4 Really helped himself. Blew away the drills and the timed speed is there.

Emeke Egbule Houston 6020 245 4.65 4.66 -- 20 7.38 33 9-11 9 1/4 33 A little stiff and the 3 cone shows that, but situational edge rusher ST player is likely his ceiling.

Joe Giles-Harris Duke 6016 234 4.75 4.76 -- 17 DNP 29.5 9-3 8 1/2 31 1/4 No drills, injured? no idea but he is a good ILB

Porter Gustin USC 6044 255 4.69 4.69 -- 31 DNP 35.5 9-11 10 33 He's an edge guy and may actually be a 4-3 DE ... but he moved pretty well considering he was coming off an injury. If he slides I'm definitely interested. Biggest question is "can he stay healthy?"

Terrill Hanks New Mexico St. 6020 242 4.98 4.99 -- 21 DNP 35.5 9-10 9 3/4 33 1/2 I was scared he'd be that slow. Add in lack of experience and lack of instincts, ouch

Justin Hollins Oregon 6052 248 4.50 4.51 -- 25 7.06 36.5 9-11 10 3/8 33 3/8 He's going to rise in a meteoric fashion. He may not make the 3rd round now. I was hoping for him in the 4th or 5th. Edge depth will keep him in the middle rounds

Gary Johnson Texas 5117 226 4.43 4.43 -- 16 7.15 33.5 10-1 10 1/4 31 1/4 ST demon right off the bat, and a great WILL, just gonna have some COD issues.

Jordan Jones Kentucky 6016 234 4.62 4.62 -- 23 DNP 32.5 10-3 9 31 3/4 A case where a player is overshadowed by the rest of the defensive players. His smoothness and speed made me really take note ... I don't think I have any more Kentucky tape, but I'll check youtube and see what I missed.

Joseph Kendall Clemson 5115 233 DNP DNP DNP 25 DNP DNP DNP 9 3/4 31 5/8 I wanted him to be more smooth. late late round guy

Christian Miller Alabama 6033 247 DNP DNP DNP DNP DNP 38.5 9-10 9 3/4 35 1/8 He was injured, so I give him a thumbs up for guts. 2nd rounder, plenty of upside, injury concerns

Bobby Okereke Stanford 6013 239 4.58 4.59 -- DNP 7.25 33.5 10-2 10 1/8 34 1/2 I think he'll be overdrafted. Not a huge fan.Yeah, not a fan

Germaine Pratt N.C. State 6024 240 4.57 4.58 -- 24 DNP 32.5 9-8 9 1/8 31 5/8 Have liked him his entire career. Smart player that could play just about any LB position.SLB or ILB, 2nd round, maybe early 3rd.

Cameron Smith USC 6020 238 4.69 4.70 -- 15 DNP 39 10-3 10 3/8 32 3/8 4-3 ILB. My favorite middle round ILB. He's a gamer.

Ty Summers TCU 6013 241 4.51 4.52 -- DNP DNP 36 10-3 10 31 1/2 I need to find more tape on this fella too.

Taki Takitaki BYU 6011 238 4.63 4.63 -- 24 7.21 37 10-5 9 5/8 32 I think he's a backup, but a great one to have. And he's old (mission work, 26) But in the 7th Im interested.

Drue Tranquill Notre Dame 6020 234 4.57 4.58 -- 31 6.94 37.5 10-2 9 3/4 31 1/2 High effort high intelligence smooth player. Lots of teams getting healthy at LB this draft.

Andrew Van Ginkel Wisconsin 6034 241 DNP DNP DNP 17 6.89 38 10-3 9 3/8 32 1/2 Need to see his speed, but he's really smooth.

Devin White LSU 6000 237 4.42 4.42 -- 22 7.07 39.5 9-10 9 3/4 32 1/8 Fast but a little less agility than I wanted him to have. Still a top 10 talent. He checks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned.

Okay, that'll do it. Ill get my DB testing done this week.
