Remember 2016?? There were several games where Gurley was an absolute NO SHOW. YES, it was under Fisher and a crap team but....... I made my first trip ever to NYC (Thanks to a USAF bud) and while there, saw the Rams play the Jets in 2016. Gurley flat out looked lie he did not give a rat's backside about playing. We sat 5 rows from the field and I watched him closely. There was no signs of pain or injury but his effort.....To be honest???...SUCKED! I'm not saying it's my final answer but just very questionable things I saw in N.Y. The ONLY real highlight that day though was a BOOOOOOOOMING punt by Heckker. We won but it was an UUUUGLY game. I still tend to think it was MCVAY that dropped the ball vs Chicago, Philly and N.E.
But never forget....Those three games, the Rams played like absolute S*** but STILL were not that far from victory. We ALL may be overreacting.
