Yeah, 43, it's great that he gets to choose coming back or not. So many athletes don't get the chance to go out on their terms - Whit gets to come back and make $10M which should set him up for the rest of his life. Not that he does not deserve it, mind you, plus the fact that he would have left a major hole had he retired.

My speculation is who Snead/McVay/Kromer have in mind to fill Saffold's place - if it's Noteboom then we'd better get someone else to be able to back up both tackles spots. Is Groh an option? Maybe a trade? Always exciting times to be a Rams fan!
