I am nowhere near ready to give Goff franchise money. You think it is going to be hard to resign our free agents this year, just wait until you overpay Goff $25 mill plus on a long term deal. That does not mention the fact he cost us a chance at winning the Superbowl with a terrible game. If he wants to play it like Brady, and sign a team friendly deal that allows us to be a dynasty...sure, im all in, but even then i am not sure he will ever be a "lift the team around me" type of qb. He may become "good," I have not seen enough to think he will be better than that. Crumbles under pressure, often fumbling or tossing ball up for grabs, poor deep ball accuracy, sticks to #1 option (especially when it is Kupp) forcing throws to blanketed wrs, etc.... extending Goff to a massive deal will be the end of our window. Rams will remain competitive so long as our qb is on a team friendly salary. I trust McVay to bring in another qb who can do what Goff does or better. I trust McVay more than Goff at this point.
go rams.
May become good??? Wow, I'm just speechless.
