I think Goff is being brought a long to grow steadily. He is light years ahead of where was last season. He can't make another monumental leap like his did this season but he can improve.
Most QB's break down when situations aren't ideal. No running game, no play action, reduced time to throw, tighter windows to throw into. Dude is 24. He can't just be great without learning how to be great.
If it weren't for Goff the Rams don't make the playoffs. 2nd year Goff if put into season 3 with no improvement would have been a rough go. So he just has to improve a little in some tight spots. He can do it. He has the drive and the demeanor. I wouldn't think twice about backing a truckload of money to his door.
I'm more concerned about McVay than Goff... and not really worried at all. Worried more about the defense and the running game.
