Picks are overvalued and all teams draft badly

People complain about poor drafting and the reality is this.

It is hard to draft and everybody is bad at it because there are too many factors. Health, personal background, current life events, ability to absorb information, etc.

You go to every message board in every NFL city and fans complain about that team's poor drafting, but that is the norm. You just have to be less poor than the other teams.

It is kind of like a bad college teacher that grades on the curb and people are scoring 40's on tests and getting B's on the glass.. That is how drafting is.

For that reason, trade a draft pick for a good player any time, any place. And this approach of getting players at the end of their contracts is a good one, because you get that player cheaper and if the player goes to free agency, you still get another draft pick, being it a lesser one, back.
