IMO those are goign to be the teams right now standing in the way of another NFC Championship
Those are the teams that made the Rams offense look ridiculous
The Rams have got to work developing their offense around different personnel groups and not just 11 personnel
We got a glimps of how that can look down the stretch and against Dallas
Here’s the problem with Kupp coming back does McVay go back to 11 personnel? IMO it would be a mistake. He has to be more varied in his approach. The Rams have to be able to play rough and tumble when necessary. To beat the Bears and that Eagles front you have to get down and dirty
I also would like to see the Rams get Reynolds involved in a different way. Get him going vertical. These crossing routes are not maximizing his skill set. Thats Kupps thing
McVay is going to have to evolve offensively and that may mean less passing and less Kupp too (unless Woods or Cooks get hurt).
I will also say this - Cooks did not play like a true #1 IMO. In fact I think Woods is a better all around WR. Cooks absolutely needs to step is game up and come up big when needed.
I can see exactly why the Patriots did not give him a huge contract and why the Saints went with Thomas over him
