When you come into the league as a rookie you tend to over think things when playing the game....you react too slow.
Now here's Goff, yes he's been in the league, yes he's played in big games....in all/most of those games he has let the game come to him.....he has a feel about the plan. But the SB is a total different animal.....as much as you tell yourself it's just another game...that's BS if it's your 1st taste....
IMO that is what was up with him in the game...it's why he held the ball too long on the Cooks play....it's why he took that sack that made Greg kick from 53.....it's why he threw that ball to them at the end.....He was thinking too much....he may have some league experience and in some big ones to boot....bu well...I've never been to a SB much less played in one and if it was my 1st time I would be acting just like a rookie.....thinking too much and not letting the game come to you...O-line issues were easy to see....but even with that they had some good chances.....
As long as the team keeps on point and they get more experience it can only improve..... Goff has an edge now on everyone in the division save for Wilson about what it feels like....and he's a lot younger then him.....
Goff learned some important stuff in that game....stuff that only Wilson has seen/felt/learned.....the other teams in the division, in the conference....very few have done what he has done...felt..seen....learned...and he's 24 years old....with WR's he's going to keep...HC growing as well....
