First of all, at my age (and I know I'm far from the oldest here), life has given me a few beatings. I went down but not out.
I can take it, and I know that. Football losses, even my beloved Rams in a Superbowl, do not compare to that.

Secondly, I've learned to cherish the real anchors in my life. For me, it's my faith, and the love of my family, both close and extended.
I have those things. They are mine and nothing can take them from me. And they're more important than football.

Once you have your feet firm on those pillars, then it's ok to reach for the stars, and among other things, dream of a superbowl victory, without the loss seeming to be a disaster.

I'm confident in these Rams. I just flat out love and admire this team, and the group they have assembled. I think that would be true even if I wasn't a Ram fan.
They are likeable, and I think, very deserving players.

They're going to win it all today, and for many of them, there will be nothing like this first championship!

If I'm wrong, I'll still be immensely proud of them.

I've enjoyed the journey of this season. And I think we have so much more to look forward to, win or lose today!

Unlike when I was younger, I have found that I can handle losses much more easily.
