Rampage2K-
I couldn't believe the first thing he did was talk about the phone call he just got from Al Riveron.....he was a mental midget on that podium that day.
His actions have fueled this whole mess......and he did it on purpose to deflect the reality that he blew that game and was out coached by McVay and Wade that day.
McVay NEVER would have handled that the way Payton did..... he has too much respect for the game. The refs and his opponent to try and pull a cry baby stunt the way the rat did.
I agree that Coach McVay is much more diplomatic in that regard, and I like how he always starts with an analysis of his process and what he could have done or can do better. He's an intelligent leader.
But not everyone has those emotional skills; Sean Payton was clearly disappointed (who can blame him), but I thought that he acknowledged that the Rams played well.
He said that he considers Sean McVay a friend and that he wished him well.
