Actually, I listened to Sean Payton's post game interview and he gave credit to the Rams for playing a good game. He also gave credit to Sean McVay. It is perfectly understandable to lament the call (or lack thereof), and he acknowledged that there were calls missed that affected both teams. I think his point was that there needs to be some kind of changes implemented so that something like this doesn't happen again.
