Next up, Goff will take on the greatest quarterback of all time in Brady.Next up, Goff will take on the greatest quarterback of all time in Brady.
That would be wrong.
The greatest players and QB of all time is Aaron Rodgers. Brady just happens to be a great QB that plays for the greatest coach of all time. Remember every time Brady misses games, the Patriots still win.
I’m amazed by the AR love by some.
How does one measure “best QB”, anyway? Let alone “best player”. Best player is probably a different Aaron. Aaron Donald. But I digress...
Best passer?
Most wins?
Leadership when things are going sideways?
Great teammate?
SB wins?
See what I mean? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if I were a GM with a hypothetical choice of any current QB to be my starter for just one year? I would take several ahead of Aaron Rodgers, frankly.
In no particular order:
Mahomes
Goff
Wilson
Brady
Brees
Brady and Brees are in the twilight of their magnificent careers, yet I would still take them ahead of AR for just one season. Sorry.
