Saints were playing at least 8 in box alot and run blitzing often. They clearly wanted goff to beat them.

1. How in the world do the Saints shut down the Ram running game so dramatically? From 273 vs Dallas to a mere 77 vs the Saints? At a time when the Rams dearly wished to keep Brees on the sideline?

Same Ram QB, RB’s, receivers, OL, and HC in both games. Honestly, I didn’t think that the Saints were capable of holding the Ram rushing yardage under 120 yards, especially with the loss of Rankins. Kudos to Saints coaches and players. I guess.
2. WTH is going on with Gurley? McVay keeps saying that he’s healthy, but takes away snaps to an alarming degree. Now Gurley is missing blocks and dropping passes? Who is this Gurley imposter? I want that other Gurley back. You know, the OPOY one?
This one. [

Two topics to ponder as we await the SB chessmatch.
Can anyone shed some light on either of these things?[/quote]
