I went back and rewatched the 49ers game and feel a lot better about our defense. The 49ers were down 48-17 in the 4th quarter. We had back ups in and their starters were able to score 2 more touchdowns. Really should have been no td's but penalties and poor tackling led to their 2 scores (but again these were our back-ups).
I also think McVay was upset that Shanny was using timeouts and going for 2 after the last TD.
