had we played more like that against good teams.. Slapping around the dregs of the NFL - and one team playing mostly backups who still dropped 32 points on us - doesn't inspire me much.. Maybe had the defense stiffened and not allowed Kittle to own the record on our home turf..
But, maybe its all by design.. to give our competition a false sense of security..
Well, the Niners just beat the Hags and had the Bears on the ropes the prior two weeks and the Cards beat GB and had the Hags until last second FG the last few weeks so it's not like these teams were completely god awful...they were also division rivals which is never easy...also I guess you missed it when it was 28-3 in the Niner game when they started pulling out starters.
Don't let a bunch of garbage time points fool you. That was a complete and utter beat down
