Rams tanking final game last year #2 for reason they fell short in playoffs

#1 - Just of it off series against the Eagles

Basically cost the Rams home field bye

#2 - Tanking the final game and basically going through a week without any competitive juices going.

Also put them further back in playoff rankings but the mental readiness suffers when you go into a competitive comatose state for a week.
