Re: Rams tanking final game last year #2 for reason they fell short

Pharoh Cooper had perhaps the worst game of any Ram player in the playoffs last year and he played week 17 against the 9eres. How do you explain that?

He lost a kickoff and a punt, Falcons recovered both.

“Muffed punt, hit off one of our players, that’s on me,” Cooper said. “I should have made the poison call.” [www.latimes.com]

Falcons recovered, kicked a FG for a 3-0 lead.

"Later in the quarter, Cooper fielded a kickoff at the Rams’ seven-yard line and surveyed the field before taking off on a 21-yard return that ended with a fumble.

The Falcons recovered at the Rams’ 32-yard line and scored a touchdown at the start of the second quarter to take a 13-0 lead." [www.latimes.com]

By now it is quite clear to everyone on the board that you think the Rams lost to the Falcons because of how they handled the 49ers game. But the biggest culprit in that game was a guy who played the week before.
