Worse case scenario... the injury is worse than we know and Gurley misses the playoffs. I am NOT saying that will happen, but I think we need to be prepared for that possibility.
Gurley got hurt 5 weeks ago and I haven't seen anything in his production or that's been reported by the team or the media that gives any indication at all that his ankle/knee has gotten better during that time. The bye didn't seem to help. Then again, until last night Gurley continued to play which certainly doesn't help the healing process. We don't know the extent of the injury. No diagnosis has been given. All we can do at this point is hope for the best, but we'd be foolish not to prepare for the worse. Thankfully, we have C.J. Anderson to help us out the rest of the way if necessary.
