The Rams took much too long to adapt to the loss of two key offensive players: one a starter, one a key back-up and outstanding STs player.
Kupp is going to be even more appreciated (not that he was under-appreciated) when he comes back next year. The guy is just a special special player and he is as important to the Rams passing attack as Edelman is for the Pats.
And Brown could spell TG III and the Rams not skip a beat. With him out, and Gurley hobbling, it made a big difference to the offence. Kupp and Brown together were a big hit on the O unit. Looks like CJ is going to be a more than able lift for the remainder of the season and the playoffs.
If the Rams think it best to rest Gurley next week, they know they have a vet they can count on. Will be an interesting call because if Gurley sits, and the Rams win (darn well should win), then when you add in the bye week, Gurley will have had about 4 weeks to rest his sore knee.....huge.
