Goff didn't just not play great, he was absolutely atrocious. His rating was 19.
Ive seen other QBs get the crap kicked out of them and still make some plays. Goff did absolutely nothing but turn the ball over.
We didn't need much from Goff to win that game, the defense only gave up 13 points. All Goff had to do was capitalize on Trubisky's blunders. Goff just gave the ball right back.
Lets face it, it's highly unlikely that Goff will ever do well in the cold against a good team. Lets hope he never has to.
He's actually 3 -1 in the cold against good teams in the McVay era.....just sayin(Seattle, Tenn in 17 Denver , Chicago in 18) it wasn't exactly warm earlier this year in Seattle also.
It all starts up front.... the o-line went from one of the best over the first ten games to one of the worst the last few games.... even Gurley has been getting stuffed lately
