Had the Rams used that bonanza of draft picks as wisely and good as the Cowgirls did with their haul from the Hershel Walker trade the Rams would have been a dynasty in the mid 80s to 90s.
Look, I LOVED Eric Dickerson to death and was heartbroken when he left the Rams. Could not believe it .
But the trade in itself was a great one. All those picks plus Greg Bell who sadly turned out to be the best part of the return.
Had the Rams hit on their picks or at least on half of them this team with Jim Everett at QB and the excellent defense would have one at least one SB back then.
