Having said that, as long as Donald makes big plays in the 4th quarter, they are a threat to win a ring.

Tomato, tomoto, there can't help but be a step down in competition for the Defense after going against the Packers offense with ARod, then the Saints (#6 overall offense), then the Seahawks (#1 Rush offense) and then the Chiefs (#3 overall offense). That was a gauntlet that our defense had to go through so the defense was bound to take a hit, Our defense was ranked #7 overall before that gauntlet began, fell all the way to 21st and has now bounced back to 18 after the Lions game. I don't think there is a harder road you could have travelled than that in the in entire league unless you swap out the Lions for the Pats. Even if/when we make it to the Super Bowl I can't imagine a three game run more challenging than what we just came through.
