Donald's the Rams' best player and the best defender in the league. But the truth is that the D has been too poor - in spite of AD's efforts - to justify naming any defender as the MVP.
IMO, team MVP is Gurley or Goff. Probably Gurley at this moment, but very close between those guys.
I tell you this: Goff, not AD, is the guy we can least afford to have go down.
Exactly...... I'm guessing 99.9 out of 100 would say Goff is the most important part of this team....that's why he should be the MVP if Rams end up with HFA.

Sounds like a lousy guess to me. Unless I'm the .01, I'd say a lot more than that would argue that Goff isn't the most important part of the team. Considering McVay's success with other QB's I'd consider the odds of him coaching up Mannion or someone else is a lot higher than anyone replacing Donald.
The defense has been pretty bad for much of the year but Donald continues to come up big in big moments to secure wins for the Rams. He is irreplaceable. Can't say that for sure about Goff.
