Spent too much time watching Saints loss and got in thier head. JMO
McVay seemingly had no GP for this week just roll them out.
Very few answers and very little mystic about this week.
Better team won for sure but just not satatisfying to see us approach like a a Preseason game.
Goff played like he was sick and really just was a sub par game for him.
No rhythm, Out of synch.
If we don't already know that better defensive Coordinators will show us new stuff and take stuff away then what thew heck are we doing showing teams the same stuff 12 weeeks and not mixing it up? Still very little short passing game very under developed if it is even in our game play book or game plan. Sean needs to fix that before playoffs.
Why are we rolling with just 2 RBs on game day? Risk Gurley and Risk Goff taking any versatility out of the teams playbook and what stupidity, yes I said stupidity is that to go into a game late in the season knowing team will try to take Gurley out and roll without a back-up RB in case of injuries. Simple Math every team knows its Gurley and Brown Brown limited touches but still a part of our offensive scheme. Brown or Gurley down and not next man that is bananas.
This was a fortunate opponent draw for week 12 after a bye but also unfortunate under prepared look in my opinion. Felt like a scrimage almost from the first drive. Seems if we don't experieince enough adversity we are quick to manuacture our own.
Gurley running out the clock up only by a touch down at about 2:40 in the game not sure that was anymore unselfish as it was plain silly. Perhaps that was him getting some practice. Who is coaching that? Someone tell him to get the dang score in front of him and let the rest of the team worry about what happens next. For Gurley that was the least inspiring 132 yd game I have seen in a while.
That felt like a win but looked like a practice session, a bad practice session by our offense that could have easily been a huge loss like Saints. Yah stop watching and focusing on teams not on our schedule and how about trying to finish this season strong. Well, half the team finshed strong.
