Other than the Bears, these upcoming 5 teams are opponents against which we should be able to impose our will. As in having a 3 score lead in the 4th quarter?
So, what better conditions could there be to give Obo a test drive?
I agree that we’re locked in to Fowler and Ebu as starters for the rest of this season. But what’s the harm of preparing Obo for a possible injury relief role? Or allowing him a running start for ‘19 competition?
Unless the coaches know something about Obo that we don’t know, I think this kid has a future on this team. And wouldn’t it be nice to be able to check off one less upcoming offseason need? Or, conversely, know that Obo isn’t the answer and that they must keep looking?
