I can't say I agree with this. Especially about McFarland.
There was one play (foggy on details) where the pass rush made a play. Over the replay, McFarland goes on and on about the pass rusher and what he did to get there …
Then it turns out that the play was made on the other side of the LOS. B M stops in mid-sentence and goes silent. Never acknowledges that he completely misread the play.
In general, I find his comments pretty vague and imperceptive.
Well, to each his own taste, eh?
