In no particular order...
1) There should be a lot more posts on this board about a person who should be in the MVP discussion...
Aaron Donald. He is just the best DT I've ever watched.
2) Am I imagining it or does
Rob Havenstein look kind of svelte? He was a pudgy fat boy coming out of college.
3) This game will undoubtedly create one of the longest highlight films in NFL history.
4)
Joe Tessitore, the MNF main play by play announcer, is outstanding...and has become my favorite play by play guy. And
Booger McFarland, as a field color guy is outstanding as well...may be one the best as well. I love
Jason Witten...as a player. He is good but not overwhelming as a color guy.
5) What was up with
Todd Gurley. If he wasn't hurt, what in the heck was McVay doing icing him?
6)
Samson Ebukam had a once in a lifetime game.
7) The
TE's (I'm sure many of you were waiting for this) finally were difference makers in a game. I think I know the roles they should play going forward...but that is for another day and time to discuss.
8) If
Patrick Mahomes had one more weapon, I truly believe the Chiefs would be unstoppable.
9)
Jared Goff is making huge plays at huge times. Great QBs do that...and he is becoming great. Too many pundits give so much credit to McVay...but Goff deserves the credit. You can't teach a QB to make great timely throws and throws into teeny tiny windows. Only the great ones do that. McVay is a conduit.
10) Our defense misses
Aqib Talib more than we can say. He would have been a huge difference maker, IMO, in this game.
Plus 1) The Rams remain undefeated in the color rush jerseys. Uh...I think.
