What attitude did he cop?
Who did he blame?
Did he take a ref's flag and deposit it in the bleachers?
Marcus Peters shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.
And...what has Marcus Peters done for this franchise? What has Aaron Rodgers done for the Packer franchise?
I'm not picking on Marcus Peters here...it's just he leaves the league and it's like taking your hand out of a bucket of water...nothing. Rodgers leaves and a lot of water disappears...hopefully to be replaced by the next phenom.
I didn't argue that he copped an attitude or blamed anyone. That wasn't my personal argument.
Fair enough that Peters and Rodgers aren't comparable (although, my musing was on what level of skill they each bring
to their unique position, not overall franchise value, because a QB will
always have more overall franchise value.
My point was this: Packers fans calling Rodgers a "dud"
for that game sounds a lot like fans at this august board who use similar labels and criticisms for our star players when they don't play up to their perceived potential. So, if Packers fans are being unreasonable in doing that (which I think was your argument, but maybe I'm wrong)... well... the parallels are obvious, right?
