I SWEAR, I never saw a Packers fan till I joined the USAF (1986-90) That was only because I was stationed with people from Wisconsin. I must admit, they were TRUE / DIE HARD fans. Even after I got out and they were playing fairly well with Majkowski at QB, I'd see MAYBE a fan or two in sports bars around town. But when Favre hysteria began in 1992??????? OOOOOOOOMG! Packer fans were growing on trees!
Also, I have a buddy who's Dad got them season tickets to the Tampa Bay Bucs in the late 70s through about 1983. He called "B.S." to the LONG time history of traveling Pack fans. Back in the day, he said Bears fans were the best count in the old Sombrero.
