I agree. I disagree with the move(s) and think the cost/benefit isn't likely there but they have certainly earned the benefit of the doubt so I'm in wait-and-see mode too.
With the comp. pick thing, the Rams would only get a 3rd round 2020 comp pick for him if he signed a
massive deal in the offseason which is unlikely unless he comes in here and has like 7-8 sacks (and if he does then we obviously want him back). I think more likely if he left next spring it would end up netting the Rams around a 5th or so, canceling out that 2020 5th rounder but still again having cost them a late 2019 3rd.
