I am not a fan of trading a 3rd for a guy if it is for half a season. And I get that they have three 3rds and maybe would get a 2020 (day 3) comp pick if he walks. I thought he would net just a 5th. He averages 6 sacks per 16 games played. I hope Wade can get more out of him.
I get the sentiment but with how close the team looks to competing for a SB, they're not really in a position to be penny pinchers.
They HAD to make a move. That blatant weakness at edge could easily have been the thing that prevents them from winning it all.
