Went there several years ago for a game. Great food anywhere, but our favorites were Tujagues, and Court of two Sisters. Bourbon Street is crap, Royale is a much better street, anywhere but Bourbon. Also check out Cemetery 1 they filmed the cemetery scene from Easy Rider (with Fonda in the arms of a statue)......don't go in the evening, not for ghosts but because of robberies, all the burials are over ground due to the ground level of the city so it makes for a lot of hiding places for un wanteds to pop out.

Check out Algiers too if you have the time, that's where they construct all the Mardi Gras floats and nice views of the city from across the Mississippi.
