We went to the November 2016 game there. It was a blast. New Orleans is one of my favorite U.S. cities. Most incredible food you'll ever have. Great city. My main advice would be to
get away from Bourbon Street. With every block you get away from it the nicer the city gets. Frenchman Street (nearby, more locals, great live music places, no one puking or urinating in the street...) is a
much better option. Walk down magazine Street into the Garden District and see the historic homes and shops.
Have fun. Get down by the stadium early. Walking distance from French Quarter. They have this huge outdoor plaza adjacent to the stadium that's a lot of fun before games. People will be very welcoming. They only dislike Falcons fans.
