Just seems like the type of player Snead loves to get.
Only 24, productive (14 career sacks in less than 3 seasons), still has upside and ultra-talented, character risk but when does Snead and Co. shy away from that?
Like Marcus Peters, still on his rookie deal and could be given a 5th year option.
I think they get him for a 4th or 5th round pick.
the jags declined his 5th year option back in may, so i'm not sure if the rams can reverse that if they trade for
him. [

even if they could, he'd cost over $14m next year. i'd rather invest that kind of cap space in getting suh back personally.
i've been intrigued by fowler [
ramsrule.com] but what the rams are faced with as far as he goes is a 1/2 year rental that would soak up all of their remaining 2018 cap space if you go by over the cap and almost half of it if you go by spotrac.
i really don't know what all this adds up to in terms of draft pick compensation to offer the jags but i'm thinking it's somewhere after the 4th round of 2020 which may not be enough to dislodge what the jags probably perceive as their top insurance policy to their starting de's.
