I appreciate you trying to explain, but it seems like it always falls on deaf ears.

I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I know at least ten Packers families personally, including my next door neighbor. I know at least ten Cowboys families, including my other next door neighbor. I know die hard Broncos and Chiefs and Patriots fans. Many of them have never seen their team live, and for Packers fans in Southern California they haven't had the opportunity to see their team in over twenty five years. I think it is a conservative estimate that there are over 100K Packer fans in Southern California alone, from displaced Wisconsinites and people who just adopted the Packers. There was simply no way they were not going to find a way into the stadium on Sunday, especially since they knew about this game since April. I could have sold my tickets for enough to pay for the season, but I would never do that. But I cannot blame those who did.

That said, the nice thing about this is that the Rams sell their playoff tickets well before the opponent is known, so a visitor team cannot do what the Packers fans did on Sunday in the playoffs. Will some tickets be available? Sure, but not nearly to the extent that happened with the Vikings and Packers. The playoff game last year had very few Falcons fans (granted, they are not known for being a great traveling fan base), and was packed with Rams' fans. I expect this year to be no different.

Southern California could sell out the Coliseum for a game between the Cowboys and the Patriots, or the Packers versus the Chiefs, or the Broncos versus the Raiders. I don't think any other city in the country could say that about two out of area teams. It wasn't that there was a lack of interest or support for the Rams in last weeks' game, it is just a reality of the metropolis that is Los Angeles.

The Rams will sell out every game this year. The interest in the Rams is greater than at any point, and having a jam packed Coliseum is a great experience, even games like the Vikings and Packers with lots of opposing fans. It actually shows what a great football town this is. Any frankly, I resent the insinuation that we are not real fans, like our DNA is somehow different from people in Cleveland or Green Bay. We don't have four generations of fans like those places, but we bleed Blue and Yellow just like everybody else.
